Relations of the carbon dioxide occurrence and geologic conditions of the Cheb basin

This bachelor thesis describes the area of the Cheb basin which is situated in the Western Bohemia, and shows the geological, tectonic, hydrogeological structure of this area. The main feature of the bachelor thesis is a CO2 emission in the Cheb basin, near the village Dolní Částkov but it also describes the occurrence of mineral waters in the vicinity of the chosen lokality. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis deals with the emanation of gases in groundwaters. The bachelor thesis describes the properties and occurrence of CO2. At the end of the bachelor thesis, there are results of my measurements in a regular network of points with a device Meopta DI-2 654-03, which serves for an air sampling and measures the concentration of CO2 expressed in percentages.
